Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change. Here's our cancellation and refund policy.
Cancellation Timeline
Refunds are provided based on when you cancel your reservation:
48+ Hours Before Pickup
Full refund of all payments made (rental fees and delivery fees).
24–48 Hours Before Pickup
50% refund of rental fees. Delivery fees are non-refundable as we may have already dispatched or scheduled resources.
Less Than 24 Hours Before Pickup
No refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery time are not eligible for a refund. We will have already committed significant resources to your reservation.
No-Show / Failure to Accept Delivery
No refund. If you do not accept delivery of the vehicle at the scheduled time and location without prior notice, all fees are forfeited.
How to Cancel
To cancel your reservation:
- Contact us as soon as possible by phone at (954) 703-9214 or email at info@tigertailrentals.com
- Provide your reservation number and contact information
- We will confirm your cancellation and process any applicable refund
Cancellations are effective when we receive your notification, not when you send it. Please allow time for us to receive and process your cancellation request.
Refund Processing
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days of cancellation. Depending on your bank or credit card issuer, it may take an additional few days for the refund to appear in your account.
Cancellations by Tigertail Rentals
In rare cases, we may need to cancel a reservation due to vehicle unavailability, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel your reservation:
- You will receive a full refund of all payments made
- We will make every effort to provide an alternative vehicle if one is available
- We will notify you as soon as possible, ideally with at least 24 hours' notice
Tigertail Rentals is not responsible for any indirect costs or expenses you may incur as a result of a cancellation (e.g., hotel bookings, airline tickets, event tickets). We recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip.
Modifications vs. Cancellations
If you need to change your pickup date, delivery location, or rental duration, contact us before the scheduled delivery time. We will do our best to accommodate changes without cancellation fees, subject to vehicle availability.
Minor changes (e.g., adjusting pickup time by a few hours) can usually be made without penalty. Major changes (e.g., changing pickup date by several days) may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, subject to this cancellation policy.
