Mileage Policy

Our mileage policy is designed to be fair and transparent for typical South Florida use.

Included Mileage

Each rental includes mileage appropriate for typical tri-county use:

Daily Rentals (1–6 days)

200 miles per day included. This is generous for most local trips, errands, and short-distance group transportation within South Florida.

Example: A 3-day rental includes 600 miles total.

Weekly Rentals (7+ days)

1,400 miles per week (or 200 miles/day average). Weekly rentals follow the same per-day mileage allowance but give you flexibility to use more miles on some days and fewer on others.

Example: A 2-week rental includes 2,800 miles total.

Monthly Rentals

Monthly mileage is determined on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to discuss your needs, and we'll customize a package for you.

Mileage Overage Charges

If you exceed the included mileage, additional miles are charged at:

$0.50 per mile

Mileage is calculated using the vehicle's odometer at pickup and return. Overage charges are added to your final bill and charged to the credit card on file.

Example: If your rental includes 600 miles and you drive 750 miles, you'll be charged $75 for the 150 extra miles (150 × $0.50).

Typical Use Cases

Our 200 miles/day allowance is designed to accommodate most common use cases in South Florida:

✓Airport trips: MIA, FLL, or PBI to most destinations in the tri-county area (round trip is typically 50–150 miles)
✓Local events: Transporting a group to a wedding, sports event, or concert within the region
✓Day trips: Beach outings, theme parks, or sightseeing within South Florida
✓Business use: Transporting a crew to job sites or a corporate team to meetings

Long-Distance Travel

If you're planning a longer trip (e.g., driving to Orlando, Tampa, or the Florida Keys), you may exceed the standard mileage allowance. Here's what you can do:

Estimate your total mileage before booking. Use a map tool to calculate round-trip distance.
Contact us if you anticipate exceeding included mileage. We can discuss options like purchasing additional mileage upfront at a discounted rate.
Budget for overage charges if you're unsure how much you'll drive. Overage charges are $0.50/mile, so you can calculate potential costs in advance.

No Mileage Tracking During Rental

We don't monitor mileage during your rental. You're free to use the van as needed within the tri-county service area. Mileage is only checked at return to calculate any overage charges.

Odometer Verification

Starting and ending mileage is documented at delivery and return with photos of the odometer. Both you and our team will verify these readings to ensure accuracy.

If there's ever a discrepancy, we'll work with you to resolve it fairly.
